The Chelsea Flower Show 2013
The Chelsea Flower Show 2013 takes place on 21st – 25th May. It is located at Royal Hospital Road, Chelsea, London, SW3 4SR.
This is undoubtedly the greatest flower show in the world at London’s Royal Hospital, Chelsea. As 2013 marks the centenary of the Chelsea Flower Show, it is going to make this year’s event, extra-special.
Every year the grounds of the Royal Hospital are transformed into show gardens, inspirational small gardens and vibrant horticultural displays for the world’s most famous flower show. The Chelsea Flower Show is attended by 157,000 visitors each year. The tickets must be purchased in advance and the number is limited by the capacity of the 11-acre ground.
The show has become an important venue for watching emerging gardening trends. Not only are new plants launched, the popularity of older varieties revived. It’s the garden design equivalent of Paris Fashion Week.
It does mean, however that most apartments and hotels in Chelsea and Knightsbridge are completely fully booked for these dates! J&K Apartments however, have many apartment options ‘up our sleeve’ to offer our guests that really are in very close proximity to Chelsea. Perhaps no more than 5-10 minutes by taxi or tube.
We do still have some availability at The Apartments by The Sloane Club, Knightsbridge.
Another lovely boutique hotel, J&K Apartments love to recommend is The Knightsbridge Hotel. Located on Beaufort Gardens, this is a delight. This hotel is well priced luxury accommodation with all the trimmings. Otherwise you could always try the Royal Garden Hotel on Kensington High Street. This is a very large hotel of an excellent standard. Located right next to and overlooking Kensington Gardens and with taxi’s right outside, this is a good option. Kensington underground is also within a 5 minute walk of the hotel.
So do call us on +44(0)1797 253 823 or enquire@jandkapartments.com for any accommodation you may need. We will always look after you. We will always do our best to help. That’s what the team at J&K do!
